08:00 -- 10:00  Travel to rural counties for field visits

                         (To be decided by Participants)

10:00 --15:00  Field Visit to observe population and development activities, to talk and have lunch with villagers.

                        Highlight for field visit:

                        Poverty alleviation, empowerment of women, girl’s education, HIV/AIDS, women development programme, MMR/IMR reduction, Quality of Care of RH/FP, adolescent sexual reproductive health, role of NGO, Official Development Assistance (ODA) and international cooperation.

15:00 -18:00  Boat trip along Yangtze River starting from Yichang;

                      The participants will spend the night in the boat for celebration of the South-South Day returning back to Yichang at 13:00 of 11 September.

 

Departure from Yichang to Beijing on the afternoon of 11 September 2004; or:Returning to Wuhan City by 18:00 on 11 September, 2004.
