Country Experience Presenter: Mr. Paddy Wilberforce Nahabwe, PCC and Head, Monitoring and Evaluation Department, Population Secretariat, Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, Uganda

Mr. Wilberforce Paddy Nahabwe UGANDA was born on 4 June 1962 in Uganda. Apart from having Masters Degree in Arts from Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (ISAE) Makerere University, he has many professional degrees obtained and technical trainings completed. After serving in a number of senior local level positions, he is currently heading the Monitoring and Evaluation Department (MED) Population Secretariat (MFPED). In addition to his regular works in his principal position, he also works as the Manager UGA/O1/PO1 Research and Evaluation Project and South-to- South Partner Country Coordinator (PCC- Uganda). In his capacity as a senior Government official, Mr. Wilberforce Paddy Nahabwe attended many international meetings and conferences. During his professional career, Mr. Paddy Nahabwe had the privilege of working closely with the then Minister of Trade & Industry, Hen Henry Muganwa Kajura as his Personal Assistant to from 1997 - 98.

As the Partner Country Coordinator for Uganda, Mr. Paddy Nahabwe has been taking active interest in the South-South collaboration activities of Partners in Population and Development in population and reproductive health activities.
