Country Experience Presenter: H.E. Dr. Sumarjati Arjoso, Partners Board Member and hairperson of BKKBN, Indonesia

Dr, Sumarjati Arjoso INDONESIA is currently the Chairperson of the National Family  Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN), Indonesia. She has a broad range of experience with management of health services and health communication in Indonesia. Her expertise includes design of health service systems, health communication media design, information systems design, and program evaluation, particularly in reproductive health programs. She is anationally recognized expert in health management, reflected in her position as General Director in Ministry of Social Affair, as well as in Ministry of Health. She also pays attention on health reseamh, where she is still in the position as the head of R&D of Ministry of Health. As the head of BKKBN, she has a very strong commitment to help poor people and underserved community to have access to quality family planning services. In her capacity as the Chairperson of BKKBN, she is the Partners Board Member representing Indonesia.
