The International Forum on Population and Development continued on Sep.8,with four themes discussed by the participators in the forum.

    on the themes of Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Reduction of Maternal and Infant Mortality, the Representatives from Uganda, malaysia, egypt and Tunis respectively introduce the experiences in their countries. Experts indicate that Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health is underway, not the result .many experts appeal that the government plays very important role on the popularization of knowledges of Sexual and Reproductive Health, and government should let adolescents aware of the responsibilities of their behaviors.

    Reduction of Maternal and Infant Mortality is the pressing work for protecting human rights.

    on the theme of Empowerment of Women & Gender Issues, Dr.Gita Sen, the Keynote Speech form India, appeal that the government should gave more consideration about male-female equality on the establishment of the policy and endeavour to eliminate sex discrimination.

    the theme of Official Development Assistance and Global Partnership for Development will be held  taday.Dr. Baige Zhao, director of National Population and Family Planning Commission of China, will preside at the forum and representatives from Japan, UK and Ford Foundation will introduce experiences in the conference.
