Customs deals with post business (1878)

Post Office was established by Hankow Customs in 1878 to deal with the domestic and international post business. Hankow Customs imported 760, 00 gallons of American kerosene, a heavy blow on China’s tea-seed oil market. British missionaries started to preach in Yichang city and opened Puji hospital soon.
