(english.cnhubei.com) Marjolein is a 29-year-old girl from Holland who is now working in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province. She is regarded by many foreigners in the city as ‘housekeeper’, for she opened a household service company to provide housekeeper and related services to foreigners.

Marjolein came to Wuhan in 2001 to take the post as the representative of Holland Council for the Promotion of International Trade Wuhan branch.

“I enjoy the life here, but I am not satisfied with my housekeeper as we have great differences in life style. Later I found out that some of my friends who are also foreigners have the same problem,” Marjolein said.

She left her post last year. Instead of returning back, Marjolein remained in the city set up a household service company.

She trained them and taught them etiquette, western cooking, etc. Marjolein and her company has become the intimate friends among foreign families in Wuhan.
