(english.cnhubei.com) Blue Sky Café is one of the most popular bars for foreigners in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province and it is the first foreign-managed Cafe in the city. Many foreigners come to city café for relaxing, entertainment and meeting friends.
The owner of Blue Sky, Toure, was once the foreign student in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, pursuing his doctor degree in refrigeration.
He opened the café in 1994 when he found out that there were no coffee bars with full-bodied exoticism in the city. The specialties of the coffee bar vary from Mexican fajitas to Turkish shawarmas while authentic coffee, palatable beers and classic music are let foreigners you recall with nostalgia.
Waiters of Blue Sky say that Toure often serves as a mixologist. “I have the mixologist certificate”, Toure said.
