As the eighth session of China Art Festival, which will be held in central China’s Hubei Province in 2007, approaches, Hubei is now busy doing the preparations.

A series of art performances which would attend the festival were staged to local people and Hubei has invested 2 billion Yuan (US$ 242 million) for the festival.

China Art Festival is the top level cultural and art pageant in the country. Approved by the Chinese government, the festival was initiated in the autumn of 1987 and was held once every two years.
