
(english.cnhubei.com) At the invitation of the Chinese government, Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn arrived in Wuhan, capital city of central China’s Hubei Province on April 9, 2007 for a two-day visit.
The princess attended the establishment of Wuhan University Sirindhorn International Center for Space Information Science. During her visit to Wuhan University, she talked with teachers and students, saying that she was attracted by the beauty of the university.
Ministry of Thai Science and Technology signed a cooperative memorandum of understanding with Wuhan Univeristy.
The princess, who has visited China more than 20 times since 1981, loves Chinese history and culture. She has introduced China to Thais through her articles and books. She is admired in Thailand for her charity work and her common touch.
