Indonesian Vice President Yusuf Kalla left central China's Hubei Province on June 6, 2007 afternoon concluding his five-day official visit.
Kalla visited the Three Gorges Project after arriving in Yichang Hubei from Chengdu, in southwestern Sichuan Province.
Launched in 1993, the Three Gorges Project, the world's largest hydroelectric project, includes a 185-meter-high dam and 26 generators on both banks of Yangze River, will be finished by 2009.
Kalla expressed his admiration for the project, especially when he knew that all the generators of the projects were installed by Chinese people.
Early China's top legislator Wu Bangguo met here Thursday with Kalla in Beijing.
