Valeo's second local plant put into operation | 法雷奥第二工厂开工

The commencement ceremony for Valeo Lighting Hubei Technology Center Co.,Ltd.'s second plant was held at the Fengshu Industrial Park located in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on Feb. 8. The construction of the plant began in the second half of 2021 with an investment of RMB 200 million, aiming to build the most advanced intelligent and unmanned production line in Asia for automobile lighting and essential modules. The plant is expected to produce 500,000 sets of headlights annually.

2月8日上午，法雷奥照明武汉第二工厂在武汉市经开区的枫树工业园举行开工仪式。据了解，法雷奥照明武汉第二工厂建设投资2亿元人民币，于去年下半年启动，致力于打造全亚洲最先进的车灯及关键模组的智能化、无人化生产线。预计年生产大灯50万套。

The Valeo Group is one of the world's leading auto parts suppliers and one of the earliest foreign companies settled in WHDZ.

法雷奥集团是全球领先的汽车零部件制造商，也是最早落户武汉经开区的外商企业之一。

Valeo came to WHDZ in 1995. Over the past 27 years, its size has expanded for a third time. The company has also set up its largest R&D center in the world. Currently it has 1,200 employees in Wuhan and enjoys an annual output value of RMB 1.5 billion.

1995年，法雷奥扎根武汉经开区。27年间，法雷奥实现武汉工厂三次扩建，还投资建设了法雷奥全球最大研发中心；现年产值15亿元，员工人数1200人。
