Life organizers, emerging profession | 收纳，新兴职业流行时

In the first half of January, local life organizer Ayao had provided house organizing services for six families. "Running short of time" was her recent work description.

2022年1月的前半月，在武汉的阿瑶已经上门为6个家庭提供了整理收纳服务。“感觉时间不够用”是她近期最大的感受。

Ayao loves sorting things out. In the summer of 2021, she watched a video by Jia Yan, a home organization influencer in Shanghai. Inspired by Jia, Ayao registered on an online course for studying systematic organizing and later became a part-time life organizer.

2021年夏天，阿瑶偶然刷到了上海网红收纳师贾妍发布的教学视频，想到自己平时喜欢整理，阿瑶开始报网课进行系统学习，并将整理收纳师发展为第二职业。

According to Ayao, the essence of organizing is improving space utilization. The biggest challenge is to reorganize the space in line with the living habits of clients. The time from initial communication and pre-survey to onsite organizing is normally three to five days. "The job requires at least two life organizers to work together. It takes several hours, ranging from at least four hours to more than a dozen," said Ayao.

阿瑶的说法，收纳的本质是提高空间利用率。最考验收纳师的是如何根据家庭成员的生活习惯，对空间进行重新规划。从前期与客户沟通，再到上门预采、上门服务，周期大概要3到5天。收纳时，一般需要最少两人协作，时长少则四五个小时，多则十几个小时。
