(cnhubei.com) Chutian Barium Salt Co, a famous enterprise in central China’s Hubei Province will enjoy most-favored tariff when entering EU market, according to Hubei Daily.
As a private owned company, Chutian Barium Salt has an annual production of 60,000 tons. Last year, the company’s export to EU countries totaled 20,000 tons, involving US$6 million.
EU made an investigation on the company in March 2004, which showed that it fulfilled all the criteria required and was therefore granted MES.
In January this year, EU Trade Commission defined tariff of Chinese barium salt products entering EU market. The tariff on Chutian Barium Salt Co. is cut to 20.6% while others 60.8%.
“Thanks to our understanding and fullest use of international rules, we gain the lowest tariff. We are confident for the future competition”, said Tang Yongping, general manager of the Company.
