“Three Gorges has bettered over 100 world records in fields as hydrology, meteorology, geology, electromechanical equipment, power, etc”, Cao Guangjing, vice-manager of China Three Gorges Project Corporation said.

Located in Yichang of central China’s Hubei Province, Three Gorges is one of the biggest hydropower structures in the world and ranks as a key part of the improvement and development of the Yangtze River.
